FIA WEC 6 Hours of Shanghai 2nd November 2014 – Blog
We are driven to the circuit every day, its a lot safer I think. We wake to find its is raining and windy. We also tested the air quality and found it to read 130. 100 is the max level.
We get to the circuit to find the rain has stopped and it is brightening up good news.
Its going to be a long day but as there is so much going on, the day goes really quickly. My first job is to photograph the fans who have turned up early.
Wow the Chinese love their motor racing.
To get to the gate we were able to use the underground tunnel under the massive grandstand, this saved a lot of time.
Next up Autograph Session
More processing then back out for the Grid Walk and a festive of colour dancing dragons and drummers.
Grid Walk closes at 10:51 the race starts at 11:00 I need to be at the end of the straight to capture the rolling start and start of the 6 hour race. I tend to leave the grid in time to get my destination.
