FIA WEC 6 Hours of Bahrain 13th November 2014 – Blog
We drive in every day the journey is pretty simple. Mind you coming back from the circuit Tom Tom sent us a direct route right through the local trouble areas you should not drive through. You know when you are in an area you should not be specially when driving through the back streets we pop out right in front of an armoured tank. Talking to a local guy the next day at the circuit, its confirmed we should stay away from these areas.
Today the format is same as always, Drivers Briefing is the first event I need to capture.
Sitting down having lunch in the media room and we are invaded by school children. I make a point of saying hello and take some photos. They won a competition to spend a day at the circuit. The FIA WEC and F1 are big events for Bahrain, lots of interest.
Free Practice 1 comes round quickly.
Rush back process and then straight to the Pre Event Press Conference
We have an hour to get some food, drink and keep ahead of the processing before Free Practice 2. Its my turn to be in the pit lane.
We finish processing and head off to the hotel. Its been a good day.
