FIA WEC 6 hours of Fuji 11th October 2014 – Blog
In early for the third practice.
Next Pit lane and Autograph Session with the fans. The Japanese fans are amazing they love their motor racing.
Next it’s the qualifying session 30 mins for LMPG and HLMP. This time instead of being on the track we stayed in the pit lane and garages of the leading cars.
We want to catch the teams celebrating when they get pole. This can be difficult if two top teams are a few garages away e.g. Toyta and Porsche. You have to juggle between each garage looking at the times. Toyota get the fastest lap and qualify pole and I’m in the right place right time.
Straight after this we head off to the driver press conference
Then across the room to the Mixed zone in the media Centre to capture candid shots of the drivers being interviewed.
Then back for more processing the images we have taken that day need to be up for our colleagues to use them.
